This plant is a bushy filler with abundant, small, bright yellow flowers (1 1/2–2 1/2") that have dark centers. Its thin, sturdy stems have few leaves, making it great for cutting and as a filler in bouquets. It's a native wildflower that can thrive in many conditions, including drought, once it's established. It is a short-lived perennial suitable for Zones 3–9, generally flowering in the first year unless overcrowded.
